JAIPUR, Rajasthan – January 26, 2024 – Journalist Association of Rajasthan (JAR) successfully celebrated the 75th Republic Day with a flag hoisting program at its headquarters—the event, held on January 26, 2024, at 13, Plot No. Police Commissionerate Complex, MI Road, Jaipur, was attended by officials, members, and journalists.
The program commenced at 9 am with various activities and speeches highlighting the importance of Republic Day and the significance of the Indian flag. At 9:30 am, the flag hoisting ceremony took place, led by the State President of the Journalist Association of Rajasthan (JAR), Shri Hari Ballabh Meghwal.
During his address, Shri Meghwal emphasized the values of freedom, unity, and democracy, underscoring the role of journalists in upholding these principles. He thanked everyone for participating and urged them to continue working towards a better society through fair and unbiased reporting.
“The flag hoisting program was a tremendous success, with a strong sense of patriotism and camaraderie among the attendees,” said Deepak Sharma, the State General Secretary of JAR. “It was heartwarming to witness journalists and media professionals coming together to celebrate our nation’s progress and pay tribute to our democratic ideals.”
